Terms & Conditions
1. Competition Details
(a) The promoter is: Continental Wigs (the “Promoter”).(b) The title of the competition is Online Easter Egg Hunt (the “Competition”).
(c) The Competition will open at 29/03/2024 (the "Opening Date") and will close at 05/04/2024 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.
2. Prize Details
(a) The prize is:
• A £50 voucher to go towards your next purchase at ContinentalWigs.co.uk
(b) The voucher will be supplied by Continental Wigs (the "Supplier").
(c) All products are subject to availability.
(d) vouchers are not negotiable or transferable.
(e) There is no cash alternative for any vouchers
(f) Voucher is eligible for 6 months from the announcement date.
3. Eligibility
(a) Only valid entries made by eligible entrants will be entered into the Competition and must not be:(i) under the age of 18 years old
(ii) an employee of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(iii) an employee of an agent or supplier of the Promoter or any of its holding or
subsidiary companies which are professionally connected with the Competition
or its administration; or
(iv) a member of the immediate family or household of any person who falls within
the category of clause 3 (ii) or clause 3 (iii).
4. Entering the Competition
(a) Entries to the Competition are via the Poll at the Facebook event, select the right answer on the Poll to entered in the “Prize Draw”. Entries can also be submitted on the “Contact Us” page of our website. Please message us there with the correct “CODE” to be entered into the prize draw.
(b) Entries not received by the Promoter through the stated procedures by the Closing
Date will be invalid.
(c) The Competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
(d) Entries into the Competition are limited to one entry per person, and all subsequent
entries shall be invalid.
(e) Finding and submitting the correct "CODE" will entitle the participant to entry into a raffle or prize draw for a chance to win. The raffle or prize draw will be conducted according to the terms outlined in section 5. The submission of the correct code does not guarantee an automatic win but rather grants entry into the prize draw for a chance to win.
(f) Competition entries will be invalid if they are:
(i) automatically generated by computer;
(ii) completed by third parties or in bulk;
(iii) illegible, altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
(iv) photocopies and/or not originals; or
(v) incomplete.
(g) The Promoter can, at its sole discretion, deem entries invalid if:
(i) in its opinion, the conduct of the entrant is contrary to the spirit or intention of
the Competition; and/or
(ii) it suspects that the entrant has breached these terms and conditions.
(h) Entries, including the contact details provided with them, cannot be edited or amended
once they have been submitted.
(i) Competition entries will not be returned to entrants.
5. The Prize Draw
(a) Only one competition entrie will win a prize.(b) The winning entrie will be selected on 08/04/2024.
(c) The winning entries will be selected at random.
(d) The winning entries will be selected by Continental Wigs (the “Judge”).
(e) The Judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered
into.
(f) Winning Entries will be announced on 08/04/2024 (the “Announcement Date”) at via
direct email to the winner. The completion of selection of winning entries will be
announced on our Facebook channels.
(g) The Promoter will contact winning entrant personally as soon as
reasonably practicable after the Announcement Date, using the telephone number or
email address provided with the Winning Entry.
(h) The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the Winner. However, if a
Winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their Prize in
accordance with these terms and conditions within 90 days of the Announcement Date,
the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected
from among the valid entries.
6. Claiming Your Prize
(a) Winners have 90 days from the Announcement Date to claim Prizes. Prizes can beclaimed by responding directly to the winning entry email notification. Winners will be
asked to supply their postal address for their prize to be sent to them. If a Winner does
not claim a Prize by this date, that Winner’s claim to a Prize will become invalid. For voucher prizes, a voucher will be generated for the promotion amount, and issued to the winners online (Continentalwigs.co.uk) account.
(b) Prizes may not be claimed by any third party on behalf of Winners.
7. Entrant Responsibilities
(a) By submitting a competition entry, entrants agree to be bound by these terms andconditions.
(b) By submitting a competition entry, entrants confirm that they are eligible to do so and
eligible to claim any Prize that they may win.

(c) Entrants agree to provide proof of age on request.
8. Liability
(a) Entry into the Competition is at the entrant’s own risk.(b) The Promoter shall not be liable for any damage, loss, liability, injury, costs,
expenses or claims (whether in contract, delict or otherwise) suffered by any
entrants or by any third parties arising out of or in connection with the
Competition, an entrant’s participation therein, or any Prize.
(c) Without limiting the generality of clause 8 (b), the Promoter shall not be liable
for any damage, loss, liability, injury, costs, expenses or claims (whether in
contract, delict or otherwise) arising as a result of any technical failure, system
error, postal failure or other issue resulting in:
(i) failure or delay in the submission of entries into the Competition;
(ii) the loss or damage of Competition entries;
(iii) entrants not being personally notified that they are Winners/Winner; or
(iv) Winners/Winner failing to receive their Prizes.
(d) The Promoter shall not be liable for any unwillingness or inability of a Winner to
claim a Prize.
(e) The Promoter shall not be liable to any entrant or to any third party for any
indirect or consequential losses, loss of anticipated savings, loss of profits, or
loss of sale or business.
(g) Nothing in these terms and conditions limits or excludes the Promoter’s liability
for:
(i) death or personal injury caused by its negligence;
(ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
(iii) any liability which cannot be limited or excluded by law.
9. Privacy

10. Force Majeure
(a) The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performing, itsobligations in relation to these terms and conditions or the Competition if that failure or
delay is caused by an event or series of events outside the Promoter’s control.
11. Termination
(a) The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, end, withdraw, suspend or void theCompetition for any reason and shall not be liable to any entrants or potential entrants
for doing so.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
(a) These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Scotland.(b) Any dispute arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be dealt with
under the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts
13. Disqualification Clause:
(a) The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to have violated the rules or engaged in fraudulent behavior.
(b) The decision to disqualify an entrant is at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
14. Intellectual Property Rights:
(a) By participating in the Competition, entrants grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any content submitted during the Competition for promotional purposes.
(b) Entrants retain ownership of their content and have the right to use it for their own purposes.
15. Publicity Rights:
(a) By accepting a prize, winners agree to allow the Promoter to use their names, likenesses, and/or social media handles for promotional purposes.
(b) This includes announcements on social media, websites, and other marketing materials, without further compensation or notification, except where prohibited by law.
